Hunger Strike is the debut release from the Tri-State born and raised emcee, Silent Knight. With the !llmind produced single “Everybody Needs”, SK tackles the topic of society’s need for acceptance coupled by media pressure, spitting lines like, “Now love ain't blind but it’s losin it sight/you see, we it’s eyes and we ain’t usin ‘em right/And if we admit it or not, we’re influenced by hype/whether it’s choosin’ a wife or the music we like”.

SK’s poignant rhymes also feature backdrops from some of today’s illest producers like Da Beatminerz (Boot Camp Clik, Black Moon, Smif-N-Wessun), Illmind (LL Cool J, 50 Cent, Little Brother), & Ayatollah (Mos Def, Styles P, Masta Ace).
